Ultra Electronics designs and manufactures a range of rugged workstation consoles for a variety of platforms and systems and track vehicles. The range includes consoles for use aboard Naval platforms. Designed and manufactured to the highest standards, the console has been designed for use in Command, Control and Navigation applications.

The compact design of the console is designed to maximise the use where necessary of COTS (commercial of the shelf) products. This enables the maximum number of operator workstations to be incorporated into the available space without compromising functionality or ergonomic design.

Single Screen and Twin Screen Portrait and Landscape versions are available. Screens available allow use in office lighting or in bright daylight as well as conforming to night vision requirements.

Compact size is achieved by innovative mechanical design and through the use of 21.3" ECDIS based LCD's. Features include a fully folding desk for ease of maintenance (no rear access required). Easy front access to processor for maintenance.

The Console desk area allows fitting of various interface devices such as:

• Configurable touch panel device, with keyboard and mouse emulation
• Trackerball
• Control Handle
• Keyboard
• Other input devices

Headset sockets can be made available.

The Touch Panel desk option, allows the realisation of a "True Multifunction Console" as the desk can be configured for multiple applications.
